The examination will consist of one paper of 2.5 hours’ duration.
The paper will be divided into two 2 sections in which all the questions are to be attempted.
Section A (50 marks) will consist of 8-12 short questions.
Section B (50 marks) will consist of 3-5 long questions.

-除左有最貼近syllabus的精美筆記外, 也會根據考評局DSE Sample paper, Practice paper及Past paper (2012和2013年DSE, or AS M&S), 教授最有用的答題技巧

-上課前預先挑選具代表性的題目, 到正式上課時從旁指導學生答題, 講學生有臨場面對題目的機會之餘, 期間也會提出引導性問題, 刺激學生思維, 希望下次遇到同類題型時更能得心應手

-面對基礎冇咁穩紮的學生, 也可以先講述課題要點才開始做練習

4) Probability: conditional probability, independence, Bayes’ Theorem, discrete probability distribution, expectation & variation

5) Distribution: Binomial, Geometric, Poisson and their applications

6) Normal distribution: basic concepts, standardization, applications

如果想Core考得好

如果想Core考得好, 除左平時要多計數外, 臨場發揮都真係好緊要
要做得快之餘同時要保持冷靜
一睇到題目就要即刻知道係考緊邊個topic, 應該用乜野方法去計
唔好諗住Paper 1時間流流長可以慢慢做
基本上九成人都冇時間check卷
開頭嗰六七題固然可以好快完成
但唔好忘記Section B嗰d
同埋分你係屬於5*定5**的終極一題
呢d都係要用多d時間先處理得好
Paper 2 MC都係一樣
要快而準搵到答案, d概念要好熟, 手到拿來, 因為落到數學的戰場往往都需要爭分奪秒...
